Rose petals concrete is a perfumery material extracted from the fresh rose petals containing all the hydrocarbon soluble matter in it. The odorous principles present in rose petals are isolated by extraction with volatile solvent (n-Hexane). The principle of solvent extraction follows: charging of fresh petals in to specially constructed extractor & extracted systematically at a specific temperature with purified organic solvent (n-Hexane). Then solvent is fed to evaporator & concentrated at low temperature. After the solvent is completely driven off, the concentrated petals oil is obtained known as concrete. Rose petals concrete is a Vaseline like mass having a color of orange red to dark brown.
